The goal of any good vaginal rejuvenation procedure should be to restore or create a normal vaginal anatomy. The normal vaginal shape is not that of a simple tube or cylinder. The natural shape is actually more conical with a gradual increase in diameter.
Conventional vaginal surgeries are prone to the creation of abnormal vaginal anatomy. If a vaginal surgeon removes tissue during the surgery (which is quite common), a ridge deformity is often created. Although Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation procedures are less prone to create deformity, poor technique or laser technology can result in such.
