GyneShape Incisinless Vaginoplasty® (GIV) and DiamondVRL procedures are not covered by insurance. However, portions of your surgery may be covered by insurance.
Pricing is similar to that of plastic surgeries such as breast augmentation, tummy tucks, and face lifts. However, approximately thirty percent of patients undergoing evaluation will qualify to have a substantial portion of there surgical procedure covered by their insurance. This is because many patients who seek vaginal and labial rejuvenation surgeries also have significant pelvic organ prolapse and/or urinary incontinence. The surgical treatments for these disorders are covered by almost all insurance plans. Many patients will request surgery for their pelvic organ prolapse and/or incontinence.
In these situations, we can perform both vaginal and labial rejuvenation surgeries at the same time. This means that your insurance will pay for a substantial portion of any anesthesia and surgery center costs. Although anesthesia is not necessary, most surgeons offer all forms of anesthesia to patients. Centers who are not affliated with GyneShape may not offer anesthesia because they do not have an anesthesiologist or are concerned about raising the cost of the procedure. GyneShape surgeons maintain relationships with board-certified anesthesiologists in order to keep affordable prices. We do not want price to stand in the way of quality and comfort.
