At GyneShape, our corporate mission is to deliver the best vaginal and labial rejuvenation devices to the finest board-certified or board-eligible gynecologists, urologists and fellowship-trained urogynecologists. These surgeons have all completed four to seven years of postgraduate training in their respective specialties with extensive training in vaginal surgery. It is this extensive experience in vaginal surgery that qualifies these surgeons for training.
We do not believe that surgeons should perform surgery outside of their area of expertise. Hence, we chose not to train plastic surgeons, general surgeons, ENTs or any other physician who did not complete a board certified residency or fellowship in a subspecialty involving vaginal surgery.
It is for this same reasoning that we strongly discourage gynecologists, urogynecologists and urologists from performing plastic surgeries such as breast augmentations, tummy tucks and other procedures beyond the vagina or vulva. We feel strongly that these surgeries are best left to board certified or eligible plastic surgeons or other fellowship trained cosmetic surgeons. GyneShape surgeons are always willing to work together with a plastic surgeon, cosmetic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon of your choosing.
To meet our mission, we provide outstanding training in the use of GyneShape devices. We direct surgeons interested in purchasing or using our devices to undergo training through our authorized educational affiliate, Laser Gyn Institute.
Laser Gyn Institute is an independent company and is not compensated by GyneShape, LLC.
Laser Gyn Institute is a comprehensive vaginal rejuvenation and labial rejuvenation surgical training facility. The Institute is known for its stringent adherence to evidence-based laser surgery and complies with standards set by the American Board of Aesthetic Gynecology (ABAGyn).
ABAGyn establishes standards of care in the surgical specialty known as aesthetic gynecology. This speciality includes vaginal rejuvenation and plastic surgery of the vulva (labia).
ABAGyn strives to create both the hightest level of ethics and surgical excellence amongst its fellows. (Fellow is the term used to describe a surgeon who has achieved ABAGyn Board Certification.) To that extent, ABAGyn has developed a critical process of board certification for its fellows as well as stringent requirements for the certification of centers offering aesthetic gynecology services. GyneShape is certified by the American Board of Aesthetic Gynecology.
The American Institute of Medical Laser Applications (AIMLA) is recognized as a national leader in laser education and ethics. AIMLA prides itself in the adherence to outcome based laser medicine and provides certifications for technology demonstrating reproducible evidence based outcomes via laser technology. The laser used to perform incisionless vaginal rejuvenation, the GynePulseVRL, is presently the only AIMLA certified laser for vaginal rejuvenation.
